What resolution should my photos be?
Ideally, a 1200x1800 pixel image would work best for your 7”x 5” card (at 300dpi). The higher the resolution, the better. A lower resolution photo may work in a collage design. If you are using a digital camera, set your camera to the highest resolution available (Your owner's manual will have information about setting the resolution on your camera if you are unsure). If you still have questions or concerns about your photos, we'd be happy to review your photos prior to ordering. Simply e-mail the photos and questions to us at contact@hokeypokeydesign.com.

What file format should my photos be?
Please save your files to either JPG, PSD or TIFF format before sending them to us. Some e-mail programs try to automatically resize your photos, please check your preference to ensure that this does not occur.

Can I send my photos through the mail?
Absolutely! Once you have submitted your order, email us at contact@hokeypokeydesign.com and we will provide you with the information as to where to mail the photos. The original photos will be returned to you with your completed order.

Are envelopes included in the price?
Yes!

What are your cards printed on?
All our cards are printed on 5 x 7 heavy card stock (not thin photo paper) with a glossy finish.

What is the turnaround time?
Within 3 business days, you’ll receive a proof from us via email. This will give you the opportunity to double check the information you have supplied. Once we have your final approval, you’ll receive your cards within 10-14 business days!

What payment methods are accepted?
We accepted Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal through a secure page on our website.

My photos were taken by a professional photographer...can I still use?
Yes. After you have placed your order, please send us an email with the photographer's release. If we do not receive an email release, we will assume that the photograph is your own property and legally yours to reproduce. There are copyright laws that protect the images of professional photographers, and any misuse of the images is strictly prohibited.

Can the cards be printed in other languages?
Yes! We can accommodate foreign languages that use Roman characters (same characters as English) at no additional charge. However, we are not responsible for incorrect spelling if you have approved your e-proof.

Can I change any of the text on a card?
Yes. You can change "happy holidays" to "season's greeting" for example. Just specify the change in the additional instructions field during the customize process.

I can not find any cards for my special occasion; can you create one for me?
Absolutely! Please contact us at contact@hokeypokeydesign.com with the design you have chosen along with your wording and we can tailor the card for your personal event.

Can you accommodate twins/multiples?
Our announcements and invitations can easily be modified for multiples. For twin announcements, please browse our twin’s baby announcement designs. Announcements for triplets, or more, one photo of the multiples can be used on most designs, or more photos depending upon the design. Our invitations and other cards can be handled in a similar fashion. Please contact us at contact@hokeypokeydesign.com if you have any questions!

Will the coloring I see on the e-proof be the same as the actual card?
Every computer monitor has varying color calibration and your cards may or may not have the exact color variations that you see on your monitor.

When I receive my proof and I want to change things, can I?
Proofs are sent to ensure that the information is correct. If there are any errors that are our fault, we will correct them at no cost. If you’d like to make any additional changes, we do charge an extra $20 for the designer’s time and you will receive a new proof.

What if there is a mistake on my printed cards?
After receiving your e-proof and give us your final approval, the cards are set to print. If an error occurred during the proof process, we will reprint your cards at no cost. We may request that the incorrect cards be returned at our expense. If the cards have a mistake due to incorrect information that was supplied by you, we must ask that you pay for the reprinting. It is essential to review your proof very carefully.

What is your cancellation policy?
It will depend on the phase your order is in. You can cancel your order any time before you have approved your e-proof at a $20 cancellation charge (for our time). If you have approved the proof and we have started the printing process, you will be charged in full.

What is your refund policy?
All our cards are personally tailored for each customer. There are no refunds on these custom orders - all sales are final. We take pride in carefully preparing your cards. To ensure that no errors occur, please review your e-proof thoroughly.
